Honestly, I joined because a VC just told me to. We've been heads-down building Smith.ai for over three years. Prior to that I was a design lead, manager, and PM for companies large and small, including Apple, Google, Mint, and others (and oh, of course...yeah, I was the first design hire at Theranos in 2007 and have the luxury of having my resignation letter in Bad Blood).

But the problem with being heads down is the lack of community, so that's why I've joined! I am eager to learn and help in any way I can.
