Started vibe coding on Bolt. Fell in love with Databutton — the community was real, that's where I learned what vibe coding actually meant. Then they pivoted B2C to B2B, shut down their Discord overnight, and the little guy got pushed out. Was weeks away from monetizing when it happened.

Migrated to Replit, tried Firebase Studio, Google AI Studio, finally landed on Cursor. By the time I was stable again, six months had evaporated.

Lesson learned: own your stack, own your presentation layer. Don't let a platform sit between you and your users.
