  • ClipScrub

ClipScrub redacts names, faces and IDs out of screenshots, screen recordings and PDFs — your data never leaves your Mac. No upload, no account, works offline. I built it because every redaction tool I tried wanted the file on a server first. That's backwards for the people who need it most: clinicians, support teams, anyone screenshotting something with PHI in it. Two passes both run on-device. Deterministic rules catch the structured PHI. Anything freeform, like a name buried in a payload, goes to an Mac on-device LLM for PHI/PII detection. In beta now!
