100k + visitors Follow-up: tested ads for two weeks

You might remember my post last month where I was searching for ideas for a business model:
The best option to come from the comments was to try the advertising model. I created an account with one of the advertising companies and was coincidentally approached by another out of the blue. I chose the latter because they paid CPM instead of CPC and tried out the service for a couple of weeks and it seems to be working well. It won't make the project profitable just yet, but it's enough to extend my runway, which is nice.
Thanks to everyone who took the time to respond to my previous post, I wanted to give you a quick follow-up to how that went.
