2–3 daily users after launch: product problem or distribution problem?

I recently launched Bulk Unsubscriber for Gmail, a Chrome extension that adds bulk unsubscribe, block, and delete actions to Gmail’s subscriptions page.

It has been live for 2–3 weeks. I’ve done a little promotion on Product Hunt and Reddit, but it still only gets around 2–3 daily users.

Since this is naturally a low-frequency cleanup tool, I’m unsure whether DAU is the right metric.

Is the product too narrow, or do I simply need more targeted distribution? For those who have launched browser extensions, how did you find your first 100 users?

The low DAU may be normal for this use case. Do users who install it actually complete a cleanup and return when they need it again, or are installs failing to become meaningful first-time use?
