2 weeks after launch -> 0 sales. Stuck. What next?

Hey IH,

I spent near 1 year building my Product (a Spring Boot + AWS Starter Kit). Launched 2 weeks ago and have 0 sales.

I tried Reddit, Hacker News, Dev.to, LinkedIn DMs, Twitter - no traction.
I even shared my struggles on Reddit — got lots of advice and encouragement, but still no buyers.

I also changed my focus from "buy it" to "what do you think" and even open-sourced part of my commercial Product. Still — no luck :(

Now I wonder:

Maybe my audience is too broad (IndieHackers, SmallStartups, Students, Solo Founders, Java Developers)?

Maybe developers are too busy with their comfort tools and don’t bother looking at something new?

So right now I feel stuck. Should I keep pushing, reposition, or pivot?

How did you move from $0 to your first sales?

Any advice means a lot!

If you’ve pushed across multiple channels and got 0 sales, it might be less about promotion and more about understanding the problem from your users’ side.

Have you tried speaking directly with a few potential customers yet?
For example: ask them “What’s currently costing you the most time or money in this area?” or “What’s stopping you from using a solution today?”

Those kinds of answers often reveal more than another round of posting links. They show you whether the pain is real enough and what blockers you need to solve before sales can happen.
