2021 Opportunities based on 2020 Trends
What opportunities for us indie hackers are coming in 2021? With Amazons' recent acquisition of podcast network Wonderly and Reddits' acquisition of Dubsmash, we may be seeing a bloom of markets in these spaces. What do you think?

It seems like Amazon Music is trying to become more of a Spotify with the Wondery acquisition. The press release (https://www.aboutamazon.com/news/company-news/wondery-to-join-amazon-music) even mentions a recent partnership with Twitch, which would bring a live element even Spotify lacks.
Reddit's move to integrate with Dubsmash appears to be about diversifying the content (and creators). "Much of Reddit’s content is still text-based, however, with video, gifs and images often shared from other sources, so Dubsmash’s integration can help Reddit build out its own video platform."
This all makes me think of @storycreator and his success. There's clearly a lot of opportunity in supporting media creators, and lowering the barrier of entry to creating good quality media.
