26 Days Since I Started Testing the Product

Hey everyone! I’m Tim, the founder of ProductDemo.

On December 9th, I kicked off the beta of ProductDemo. It’s a tool that lets you create interactive demos in just a few minutes.

In the first two weeks, I tried out a few different channels to grow my user base. Here’s what I did:

1. Hacker News: It brought in my first users, but they didn’t stick around for long.
2. Reddit: This channel drove way more traffic than Hacker News and gave me some lasting exposure.

Most users found the product really helpful, which I’m super excited about! I’ve started getting a ton of feedback. One of the bigger changes I made was to make the product look and work great on different screen sizes. I’m really thankful to everyone who has tried it out and shared their thoughts.

So, what’s next for me?

1. I want to explore more marketing channels. I’m thinking about cold DMs and e-mail marketing as my starting points.
2. I’ll be sending out weekly updates to my users about what’s new with the product.
