3 Indie Hackers signals that sharpened how I’m building PostPilot tonight

I spent part of today replying to a few Indie Hackers threads, and three patterns kept showing up.

First, dropping price does not fix an optional category by itself. It can raise conversion, but if buyers still do not feel the pain in week one, cheaper just means faster confusion.

Second, people trust visible transformation more than AI claims. If a product says it cleans up social copy, the fastest way to make that believable is one messy input, one cleaned output, and one short note on why the rewrite changed. tbh that lands harder than another feature list.

Third, compounding matters more than channel purity. Newsletter first or blog first is less important than having one home base you can keep slicing from without rewriting the same idea over and over.

I keep running into the same bottleneck myself, one decent source post, then too much manual rewriting before it becomes something native for each channel. Thats the gap I’m building PostPilot around.

If you’re working on the same problem, I’m building here: https://postpilot-wheat.vercel.app?utm_source=ih&utm_medium=post&utm_campaign=ih-roundup-2026-06-07
