Publishing high-quality content is a rule.
But in a niche full of competitors, How do you stand out?
By doubling down on what makes you different and not trying to emulate everything the market leaders do.
Here's what four of the most known keyword research tools can teach us about content creation:

1/ Dominate one platform, move to the next one.
Ahrefs receives over 1.4 million monthly searches to their website.
Another company would stop there, but Ahrefs went ahead and created one of the highest quality SEO channels on YouTube.
2/ Embrace being the underdog.
Instead of publishing content that couldn't compete, Mangools/KWfinder
focused on making its website and platform beginner-friendly.
Their SEOpedia, design, and articles revolving around tactics are an example of that.
3/ Be the best at one thing.
Although SEMrush is Ahrefs main competitor, they didn't try to compete and emulate everything the other did.
To differentiate themselves, SEMrush runs webinars with marketing professionals that go beyond beginner tactics.
The best of all is that they run webinars in English AND Spanish.
4/ Partner with influencers.
A recognized figure inside your industry can help you increase traffic, sales, and brand awareness. If he's the owner of the company, even better.
Neil Patel took Ubersuggest, made it better, and boosted its presence thanks to his personal brand.
Content lessons from four keyword research tool's blogs:
Once you master one channel, move to the next one.
Don't copy the head of the industry. Be different.
Publish for different cultures, languages, and types of users.
Partner with influencers in your space.
Hope you enjoyed the post as much as I enjoyed writing it.
