4 things to consider when managing a business during down times

    Thanks for your post! The good point when in the early stages is that you do not know when the downtime will end exactly. However, when it does, you need to be ready to benefit from the recovery afterward.

    Good tips!

    Budgeting is the most important point here. I've reduced costs to a minimum by doing a lot of my own marketing. Previously, I outsourced. In the beginning stages, I needed professional help. Reevaluating what you spend money on can sometimes help you see where you no longer need to pay someone else to do the work for you. Even when we're out of these challenging times, I think I'll carry on doing my own marketing.

    While it's difficult for many new founders to keep their businesses afloat in times like these, some of the most well-known businesses started during downturns, I'm thinking Airbnb, Stripe, Uber etc. If you can weather out the storm, there's a bright horizon ahead.
