Hey indie hackers,
After building dozens of Framer landing pages for SaaS founders and solo makers, I keep seeing the same mistakes that kill conversions.
Here are the 5 most common ones:
Too much text, not enough breathing room
People don’t read — they scan. Fix: Big headlines, short paragraphs, and lots of white space.
No clear value proposition above the fold
Visitors should understand what you do in <5 seconds. Fix: Strong hero with one-sentence benefit.
Generic stock photos and fake testimonials
Trust is everything. Fix: Use real screenshots, mockups, or honest founder stories.
No social proof or traction signals
"Join 2,400+ makers" without proof doesn’t work anymore. Fix: Show real numbers, logos, or waitlist counts.
Forgetting mobile experience
Over 50% of traffic is mobile. Fix: Test everything on phone and simplify navigation.
Bonus mistake: Building something that looks beautiful but doesn’t convert. Design should serve the goal — getting signups or sales.
I’m currently helping founders with Framer landing pages & waitlists (first 3 waitlist projects are free, limited).
What’s the biggest struggle you have with your landing page right now?
Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences
One thing I'd be careful validating is whether landing pages are actually the bottleneck for the founders you work with. A higher-converting page only matters if it amplifies an already compelling offer. I'd keep validating...
