5 Questions To Discover Your Next Product

I always used to think in huge apps for becoming an indie hacker. Nowadays, I try to think in very small digital products I can sell over and over again for $10. These questions help me come up with new ideas. Hopefully, this helps someone.

What can you do, that I can't?

We often think that the knowledge we have is obvious to everyone. But it's not.

The best ideas either save time, save money or make money.

What tasks do you perform recurringly?

Recurring tasks call for automation. What can you automate in your daily life?

The best products speak to our most profound nature (reptile brain). It saves energy, connects with others, reduces uncertainty or achieves status.

What do you build over and over again (for clients)?

This sounds like the same question as before. But for me, every project I start for a client starts with the same tasks for them. Every software project I begin, I start with the same tasks. I could teach this to someone else.

What is the biggest epiphany you had in the last 12 months during your work?

What gave your knowledge, career, your life a huge boost?

If you had a colleague with 2 years less experience than you. What would you teach him?

How could you teach it to your colleague? Could it be through an ebook, video, course or coaching?

If this post helped you, leave a comment or a like. I will then create a video about how to start with very small digital products you can build and sell :)
