5 reasons why you should acquire Micro-SaaS business

Why not create the stuff by myself to have a 100% aligned product with me?
Hey Antoine. Good question.
Because development, product-market fit, and growth take time and a lot of resources.
Before the dev phase, you should validate the product to prove that you should spend any money developing it.
Most of the micro-startups already have product-market fit you just need to know what strategy to choose to grow them.
Good point, if someone has already validated a product-market fit and sees potential in their hard-worked SaaS then why would they sell it? Would the same reason apply to the buyer?
Great question. Thank you.
If this happens, most of the founders don't sell the project. So I've got a lot of rejects after pitching people to try to sell.
But some people proved market fit, and you see a good amount of potential, but they don't see it, or they found another activity to tackle.
They don't want to focus anymore on the product and decide to sell. That's the main reason.
Also, in my experience, I've seen different purposes to sell it from the founders. For example, somebody is looking for money to start another project or reinvest in the existing one.
Various things, so there is a space to discuss.
You acquire when there is traction and some revenue.
Not always. I've seen an acquisition where the startup didn't have revenue but a few active customers. And the agency that bought it found a few other customers and then successfully monetized the project.

Interesting thread @sweatC and congrats on Microns. I just signed up.
Another way to frame your IH post would be to ask why you should sell your Micro Saas? Just to cover the other end of the table.
Curious about your thoughts on that too.
Thank you, Youssef for your support. Appreciate it.
Plan to do thread you mentioned. Stay tuned.
Looking forward ;)
Let me know if you have any questions. Would be happy to answer them 😊
