IH reading club - 7 habits of highly effective people
Hi guys,
I'm reading right now the Covey's masterpiece 7 habits of highly effective people.
I would like to know if somebody is interested in setting up a reading club.
My idea is to share our thoughts about non-fiction, business and personal development books.
You should maybe have a look here: https://thestartupbook.club
Personally I wouldn't call 7 habits of highly effective people a masterpiece but other than that the idea of a IH reading club sounds good :)
thank you for your opinion, if you have better suggestion go on :)
one of the scope of the club is to share opinions
and suggest good readings :)
I would recommend "The Willpower Instinct" by Kelly McGonigal for a more scientific view on habbits. Charles Duhigg's "The Power of Habit" is also a good read but more on the pop sciencey side of the spectrum with a lot of good stories.
If you want to learn more about human behavior in general the best book in my opinion is Daniel Kahneman's "Thinking fast and slow" based on his own research in behavioral psychology of over 40 years.
Thank you. I really loved Danny's thinking fast and slow. I'll have a look at the others 2
