#idea-validation Is there something out there I can use to track where my credit cards are used. I often subscribe to services or use my credit card to pay bills and do that via a subscription. Is there a place I can go that knows my credit cards and which services they are subbed against?

In regards to subscriptions, you can link your credit cards to Butter (https://www.justbutterit.ca/) and have it automatically find your subscriptions/bills. They provide a bunch of stuff like tracking, special deals, and cashback.

I don't use this service personally. Just know about it through my network.

Yeah this looks promising. More or less exactly what I'm after.

Hmmm all the credit cards I have provide web-based panels where I can see all the transactions.

You might have to play with it manually to find the info but this probably has what you're looking for.

I can't think of a way to achieve this at the moment. Most companies I'm aware of will store customer's credit card details with their payment processor (Stripe, 2Checkout, Authorize.net). So effectively they are the repositories of your card details, but would not give this information out, may not have visibility on what the actual application is that they're billing for.

There is a similar interesting idea though, you could create a service using Stripe's card service, that would allow people to provision new card accounts which are able to track every subscription that it's signed up to etc as opposed to just showing charges.
