A.I App Stack: Rails/SQLite/DigitalOceans
I've built AnonAmaze which is "ChatGPT but with Privacy".
My stack:
- Ruby on Rails 7.1 including turbo-streams for live updates
- SQLite 3
- LiteStack (jobs and caching on SQLite)
- Bootstrap (it's what I know)
- Hatchbox.io / DigitalOceans for hosting
This combo has enabled me to quickly build an MVP which provides ChatGPT-like capabilities along with some significant value-adds including the privacy features.
I can also deploy this stack in any region with just a single small application server, and opens the door to dedicated instances for any clients who may want that.
