A new social media for investors and founders.

Hello guys, I would like to get some feedback on my website and startup idea Quonective.

Quonective is a new professional networking social media for investors and entrepreneurs. A place to build relationships, network, validate and show your ideas, find co-founders, join startups competitions and more.

I’ll be really thankful if you can check the website and give me feedback on both the idea and website. The waitlist is now open and you can join if you want.

https://quonective.com/

Thanks.

    Hi Ivan,

IMO, the idea is too big to start with. There are too many moving parts, with not enough value being provided or shown at each step.

I would start with a sliver of this idea, create some value for your users up front, build a user base, and then think about expanding once you have momentum.

Have you done some user interviews to see what the main pain points are for one side of your user base (probably founders)?

      Hello Sobbuh,

Thanks for your reply. That's very good to know, the reason I publish the website is to gather feedback and validate the idea or parts of it and of course I have done interview but not enough, I'm still in the process of contacting people (investors & entrepreneurs) also everything would change in the future I'm still looking for co-founders.

But did you liked the idea and the website?

      Thanks.

        Hey Ivan,

I think there’s more value in moving forward than trying to get the perfect idea.

In my opinion, if you can narrow down the idea and provide value in one of these small sections, that would be great.

Look into customer problem stack ranking, and the mom test. Talk to some users. Figure out what their needs are and why they would sign up for a new site.

If you’re passionate about this, just keep moving forward with your idea and you’ll find something that sticks.

          Hey Sobbuh,

Thanks for your advice. I'll definitely gonna start talking to future customers (entrepreneurs and investors) to see if they liked the idea and if they would use it in the future.

You think I should start small and get rid of some other features?

Thanks again for being honest and positive. i follow you. i would like to keep talking to you, also feel free to dm me at any time.

            That's great.

Check out the Mom Test, if you haven't already. It's a great book on how to interview customers.

You think I should start small and get rid of some other features?

Yup, I think so. It's hard to build/market such a big idea to start with, and it's likely that your early users will only be getting value from some small part of it anyway.

Talking to your users will give you a better idea of where to start.
