Accelerated growth rate by 50%+ in 1 week.

I’ve successfully done this with every one of my recent clients.

It’s actually really easy.

First, there’s a misconception I should mention.

When you’re starting off, the goal is always to find ways to get more traffic.

That makes sense.

But then you get consistent traffic and this is where most founders make a mistake.

It’s easy to think improving your growth rate from there requires more ways to get traffic.

Essentially, why stop what’s working?

It’s easier to do this instead, and then work on new traffic after.

1. Find your core customer journey

Figure out what 4 or 5 pages make up 90% of your website traffic.

1 or 2 sources bring most of your traffic.

Everybody starts with your free trial or free plan.

Most of your SEO traffic comes from 2 or 3 blog posts.

These are your points of high leverage. Changes here have a dramatic effect on your marketing performance.

2. Lower the friction to your free offer

Most visitors will only come to your website once, and only visit one page.

That means your on website promotion has to be strategically focused on creating a reason to engage.

3. Focus on home page conversion rate

Your home page does most of your converting.

Any changes to your conversion rate here will change the growth forecast of your entire business.

Do as many AB tests as necessary to get this right.

The hero section of your home page in particular needs to be self-sufficient.

Give the viewer what they need to make a purchase decision on that first fold.

4. Optimize your blog for conversions

It’s especially true on your blog that a viewer is likely to only view one page.

And a blog post doesn’t necessarily promote your product. Which makes it hard to convert.

First, optimize the things that are seen on every blog post to increase conversions.

Essentially, the things that sell for you on your hero should also be on your blog side bar.

Second, your top 3 blog posts that bring most of the SEO traffic should be updated.

Find ways to turn those into advertorials where your product is subtly promoted within the blog content.

That’s pretty much it.

The high leverage areas that see a lot of traffic the most important aspect of your growth rate.

And you only have to do this work once.

It’s the best return on investment in your business hands down.
