Accountability platform for makers
What: a platform for pairing up single founders/makers into partnerships to help with project accountability. The platform would pair you (a single founder) up with one other person (also a single founder), and facilitate weekly checkins where each person could provide updates on their project, ask questions, pitch ideas, and generally support the other. A fee of $1/week would ensure that each founder is committed to making an effort in the partnership.
Why: I often get started on side projects that I think are interesting or have business potential, but become frustrated/distracted along the way and don't end up finishing. I've found that being accountable to just one other person can be a huge motivator. Even better if that person can provide a safe space for bouncing "stupid" ideas and getting feedback.

potentially, but I might not be the type that would be the earliest sign up.
Can I ask why you decided not to pursue it? Did you run some tests that ended up with not promising results?
Life kinda got in the way and this idea fell by the wayside. I guess I needed an accountability buddy ;).
I still think it's a good idea, albeit one that's pretty popular with makers (so perhaps whatever market that exists is picked over).
