Hi All I am launching soon this ad for our pre-launch offer. Let me know your thoughts:

"Premium" for me always seems like a synonym for "Pay Money" so for the image you posted, my mind interprets it as "Pay money for a meet up alternative" which does not sound enticing. The spacing on the three lines also feels off. The first line feels slightly orphaned/spaced away from the two lines below it.

Your video ad seems to cram a lot of information in a short amount of time - it felt a bit overwhelming to me and the robotic-like voice as @rohukas mentioned, did not help.

I watched it again and realized one of the things that really felt overwhelming/frustrating was that the voice over reads some words that don't appear on the screen. My mind is expecting to see more words to read but the voice over is happening but old words are still being displayed in at least one place in the ad.

The ad copy says "Arouund streamlines community and event management..." I know your startup is named "Arouund" but most people seeing the ad probably won't know that. Not knowing that it is a proper name, that sentence feels like really poor English with misspelling and a robot trying to say "This app will help you out with anything around streamlining your community and event management". Basically, if I don't know the name of your startup, that just feels like a poorly formed sentence.

If it were me, I would significantly cut back on the content and give everything space to breathe. Maybe have a screenshot with the name "Arouund" in the screenshot itself or above the screenshot have the name/logo.

Your ad starts with talking about pricing. Is pricing your biggest differentiator or purpose for the app? I'm assuming that your biggest differentiator is more "Are you frustrated managing a community?"

I would figure out your number one differentiator, then really pull on the emotions that arise from your differentiator and how your app will improve things. Maybe a screenshot of the best feature?

    Some possible solutions:

    • Hire a cheap voice over specialist from Fiverr - add some emotion to the voice over.
    • Slow down and let things breathe, remove some of the content/text (right now it feels like you are trying to cram as much information as you can into a short video).
    • If the voice over is going to read text on the screen, make sure all the text appears on the screen.
    • Focus on bringing out emotions.
    • Differentiate your app name - if nothing else make "Arouund" -> "AROUUND" or "Arouund.com" or color it differently to clarify you didn't just misspell a word in your ad.
    • Maybe add some background music - there are lots of places to get affordable music for ads online.
    • You could make things real simple by just putting some text on the screen that says something like "arouund.com brings peace to community management." -> slowly fade in the words with some pleasant background music and some nice images from unsplash.com - then end it with "If you manage a community, sign up today at arouund.com to get the peace you deserve."
    • OR do the opposite, have a screenshot or mashed together screenshots of notification overload, and any other problems that come with managing a community - "Does managing a community feel like this..." then transition to the peace that Arouund brings. I'm a big fan of having a hook/something that grabs attention and then transitioning to the actual message.

Did you use text-to-speech for the ad? Sounds like a robot to me.
