Hi everyone,
I am running a platform that is essentially a collaboration network for B2B SaaS companies. Similar to a dating platform, the value it offers is greatly depends on the size of the network. Currently I am only growing it by personally reaching out to prospects and inviting them to join.
I was thinking about offering a way for existing members to invite others to build an organic growth channel. Even though referral mostly works in B2C scenarios, I was thinking about applying it here as well.
What are your thoughts?
Trust me, the referral system works everywhere!
If you've got the right prospects, the word will go out automatically!
Check this tool, will definitely help you out: http://bit.ly/2sQgtzn
We run a referral marketing SaaS business, and from what I've seen, B2B absolutely works.
It's all about understanding your users/customers and what motivates them to share. The businesses who do best at referral marketing are the ones that know what incentives and thresholds that optimize referrals.
That's great advice, thanks Kevin. I was thinking of implementing a very basic solution myself, but it seems like your tool could save me a lot of time.
Which incentive would (as a B2B SaaS founder) motivate you to invite others?
That's the golden question :)
Every business is different, you will need to find what really hits the sweet spot as an incentive
