Alternatives to CommunityBox software?
Hey internet friends - I'm working on a little weekend project - Does anyone know of any platform that is similar to https://www.communitybox.co - Really just looking for a way for users to create an account, upload some details about themselves, be able to have a image gallery, in a hopefully cheap/affordable little package.
I decided an hour ago that I need an arcade directory in my life - So I built this in the past 75 minutes -> http://myarcade.games - I'm not set on anything specific, just the concept as shown so users could upload their photos/show them off to the world.
I figure there has to be something similar out there already that does something similar to this, but I am failing at finding it via Google right now.

Not sure they can do everything you’re after, but worth having a look.
why not use something like wordpress and a few plugins?
instagram comes to mind.
The product I'm building, Guildflow kind of does some of that, but it's pricing while not available in public alpha will be inline with CommunityBox so, pricing won't be a differentiator.

Even though it's more task oriented, you might also consider Basecamp maybe?
What I got on http://myarcade.games/ now is really what I am thinking for the most part - Folks can create a profile, and details from their profile are shared in the directly. It's not really a Basecamp thing - It's almost a 'dating platform' without the dating and just the profiles 😂
Public profiles/public directory - Image gallery really just a way so folks can upload photos to show off their home arcades/arcade games they own. Everything public really, that's the idea is folks just want to openly show this stuff off - They do it all day, every day, on Reddit/Facebook, but like any Community, their posts die into oblivion after 24 hours - This let's everyone have a permanent home for their arcade / common destination.
