Answered: How did you get your first customer?

This post I made on Twitter blew up, and I got tons of really interesting answers. Wanted to share it here to showcase the variety of sources that worked for folks.

One thing that definitely stood out to me was the amount of people who searched the internet (facebook groups, subreddits, twitter), for their customers talking about pain points that their product solved, and engaging with them in those online communities.
