any advice for our community building experiment?? [Bindr]

We've been running an experiment before building out our Bindr tool to to see if asynch videos can add value/meaning to an existing community. We asked a group of friends if we can try it out on them for a month.

We are posting under 2 min weekly videos (**each video is required to be 2 min and under) to help stimulate deep conversations about specific topics, practical advice for daily work (productivity tips), and mental health checkups with one another. We hope this allows people to know one another better even in established communities/friend groups.

It has been 10 days. The 13 member group we are experimenting with is a group of friends/micro-community.

Stats:
WK 1: 6 topic videos posted, 29 response videos posted.
WK 2 (so far): 5 topic videos posted, 9 response videos posted.

Tools used:
Notion (to store/view the videos, to use for our 'announcements' feature to notify when new videos our posted as well as someone in the community posts a response video)
Loom to record the videos

personal thoughts so far:
-members are posting their own topics and others are responding with their opinions/advice/personal thoughts
-people have had trouble watching/loading the videos on a mobile format with notion while web format has no problem
-similar to volunteer organizations, the people who are active are very active, others are here and there in it so engagement is interesting to observe
-topics discussed so far: sharing daily successes at work, advice about marriage, personal thoughts about faith, AMA style for individual members in the community, productivity tips, daily in the life at people's jobs. video literacy
-announcements on notion doesn't have the same effect when you get 'tagged' on FB or mentioned on Twitter
-some members don't want to add loom but prefer to use other tools
-not sure if people don't post because they don't feel comfortable on video or if we need to spend more time in helping people feel comfortable recording themselves

We are learning alot but at the same time feel it is a big stagnant at times. Know it has just started but looking for ways we can make the asynch video experience fun and meaningful for those in our experiment.
