Any thoughts on Discord for community building?
I'm trying to engage more with my (growing) community.
I thought a chat could be a good way for me and users to help each other.
Do you have any feedback on this? Maybe a better app to do it?

If it is b2b slack seems to dominate.
Otherwise discord is great.
Communities are hard but can be very rewarding.
I do think it's a great way of building a community, but like mentioned very hard to moderate and keep active.

I considered a forum but it seems even worse...
As of late I think having IM as a way of communication can be draining. There are many ways you can spend your hours more effectively. Moderation is a hard problem to tackle.
I'll be watching this thread to see how others tackle community building.
