Anyone thinks CWS is taking wayy too much time reviewing extensions?

I'm waiting on an update since the last 3 days. Before this update, the last one took about 4 days whereas before that it would only take a few hours to push an update.

This is quite ridiculous as I've already finalized 2 other updates to be pushed in this time.

Anybody else experiencing this issue?

Yes. This is making it hard to iterate on my product. I'd like to get changes out to beta testers fast but now I really need to think about the update. I don't think I'll mind in production, but when I'm making changes everyday it gets difficult.

I recently submitted an extension for review, got rejected for not adding the privacy policy page, since I used unlimitedStorage permission.

Added privacy policy page and resubmitted for review, still in pending.

How many days has passed since submitting?

That's not too bad. I'm at day 3 right now and the last update took 4 full days to review.

oh i see! Let me just wait for my extension to get approved.

This depends on the permission used in your app. That's the reason few extension get approved faster and few takes days.

Yeah, I dunno about that. I have one entry on CWS that asks for no permissions, and an update I did a few weeks back still took 3 days.

It's weird because I have several addons listed on cws. 2 of these are updated almost instantly -- generally no more than an hour or two; the rest take days. There's no discernable difference from .y point of view either.

You say the rest take days. Is there something about those addons that make them take a longer review time?
And how many days does it take?

Not as far as I know -- the Amazon one is popular, but its using the same wide permissions I use everywhere else. Official policy according to Simeon is that reviews can take up to 14 days, but generally I see 3-5 days on average.
