Apple App Store Browser?

Is anyone aware of a tool for browsing all App Store apps? Even a more sophisticated search feature would be nice. I can totally sympathize with developers whose apps lose traction after fading from the top lists and wanted to give back by reviewing/promoting lesser-known products, but it's difficult to find anything outside of the top lists.
