Appsumo asks for clarification on our SaaS, claiming it's a script. How do I even clarify this?
Hi! We submitted our product (getguestposts.io) on appsumo about a week ago and got the following email:
Before we can complete this listing, we need some further clarification please. Our research shows that your product is script-based or white labelled. To move forward, we need to understand the following:

to confirm the name of the original script / app

to check what license is in place to enable reselling the service
Please contact compliance@appsumo.com to clarify these concerns. Looking forward to your response![WVR]
We've clarified and told them that the software is not a reseller script, but has been developed in-house, from scratch. I further mentioned that if there's still confusion, we are open to let them have a look at some of the source code.

We don't want to miss the black friday sales wave. Any help appreciated!
I had an issue where they thought the code I wanted to sell on their site was gonna be given away for free on my website. Mind you, directly under the button proclaiming "DOWNLOAD THE CODE!" there was a p tag saying "A one time purchase gets you tech support and all future updates for free!"
No idea what you could do, I emailed them detailing how ignorant that judgment was complete with screenshots.
Hope you get it all figured out in time, I know they're swamped right now for Black Friday.
Just got a response a couple of hours ago! Phew. They say it can take 5-7days for approval. Black friday is 5 days away. Its gonna be close! 🥲
