Are CompSci Grads Not Getting Hired?

Hi.

Don't shoot me (I didn't do th research). Friend told me that a CompSc prof from a Bay Area school was alarmed when a high ranking grad told him "he couldn't find a job".

Is this happening? Or was/is this bs?

Which also led me to wondering, does this community have "devs" who are still doing the "single" pursuit with no real success.

Are devs who aren't really succeeding willing to discuss helping each other?
