Whenever I bring up such, people usually ask questions like, 'So you think you are woke now?' I don't know why people don't realize gender inequality affects everyone.
The statement, a person is supposed to do this and that is so misleading.
Yes, exactly. I mean startups might say they want to do the right thing and might even mean it -- but then somehow end up with hiring only tech bros from the same county.
If I had a dollar for ever time I heard “there simply aren't women out there with the experience we’re looking for” -- which is just so dishearteningly unproductive, and simply, unfair.
