Are you not happy/satisfied even though you are earning well?

Are you really happy and satisfied with your life?

Last week one of my friends got a salary raise, and now he is earning around $3000/m.

Since we live in India, luxury living costs around $200/m.

In curiosity, I asked whether you are happy now with your life because you're earning so well.

Suddenly, he replied Rohit; I no longer feel motivated, happy and excited.

Even though I am earning this amount, I think my grandfather was happier than me doing farming.

Now, talking about me, I also have the same feeling. I am earning well, but now I realise that money can't buy happiness.

So, what can buy happiness and satisfaction?

I am writing an e-book on "How to live a happy and satisfied life. Lots of money is not needed"

But I am not sure if only me and my friend is facing the same issue or if you are also facing these types of issue.
