Are you selling on Gumroad?

Hey all,

To help Gumroad sellers create stunning sales pages that convert we just released the beta version of https://www.wrappinggum.com

Because when you are trying to sell something there are two things that matter most: your product and how you present it!

WrappingGum is a tool that helps you save time and headaches by automating the creation of your custom sales page. We also handle all the payment integration with Gumroad!

Since we're still in beta - I would love to hear feedback from you guys who are selling your products on Gumroad and whether there is something that you would love to see here that would make your life even easier.

Thank you!

I've sold a lot on Gumroad.

Honest feedback, your tool doesn't really interest me? For the kinds of things I sell, I am generating interest off Gumroad, so when it comes time to buy, Gumroad is just the transcation, I am not really selling on Gumroad with a sales page. Does that make sense?

      Hey josh

      Thanks for the response!

Totally fine that you're not the target audience for my builder.

If I understood you correctly your main source of traffic for your gumroad products came from Gumroads discovery feature? Did you do anything else to market your products?

No other way around. Never sold through Gumroad Discovery. I sell them on my blog. Buying on Gumroad is just the checkout process, don't need a 'sales' page etc.

Right, sorry - I get it now.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but then you're linking your Gumroad products inside your blog articles and driving all the traffic to the blog?

Do you think that by adding an additional layer between your blog and the gumroad checkout page (where you could address users FAQs, show of your testimonials, describe the product in more detail, etc) you would increase the conversion rate for your products?

From my understanding additional layers means less conversion.

When I design a form I try to make it as few fields as possible, much less as few pages as possible. Could be wrong but I don't see a huge need.
