Ask Courtland: How is 'Start Here' page performing?
The Start Here page is an interesting attempt at educating new visitors to the site of how to use IndieHackers. I'm curious how it performs? How many people visit it daily? Do you see an uptick in activity after people visit the page?
It's going well! It gets about 800 pageviews/day, and personally I find it inspiring to see the number of people who've gotten started tick up. We don't track much else about it to be honest. It's just there to quietly provide value to people who need it, and also to serve as an easy place to link to when people ask certain questions on the forum.
(I suppose it also resulted in a massive boost in traffic when we launched it on Product Hunt, but ofc that's something you can only do once with a page like this.)
Thanks for the response! I found the page helpful and thought it was an interesting idea. Will be using it as inspiration in my own projects :)
