B2C SaaS Founders: how do you manage customer data?

I might be asking a dumb question here..I know that in B2B it's very common to use a CRM to manage customer data, relationships, etc.

What about in B2C? I'm working on a $10/mo consumer app. It'll use Stripe for payments, which I know will store the subscriptions for me. And I suppose I can link up an analytics tool like Baremetrics. And then we'll have probably convertkit or emailoctopus for email marketing.

Would you recommend a CRM as well? It just feels a bit like killing a fly with a cannon to have a CRM like Salesforce or Infusionsoft.
Are there other types of tools you'd recommend for a B2C app to keep track of customers across the app, payments, and email marketing?
