One of my BTC O.G. friends warns me against Ethereum and predicted the bear market coming in April. Is his prophecy coming true in May? Are we seeing the bear market finally?
This drop is significant for sure. And many people come out to claim that they've predicted this. Well, any market will have cycles. I've been "predicting" inflation in the US as soon as the government started printing money for the stimulus. But I'm no prophet, cos I didn't know when will that occur. Throwing out a statement like this will come true sooner or later as the market cycle is inevitable. Next, we could be seeing the housing market finally slows down and tank--simply because no bull market runs forever.
A few other friends reach out to me and see my reaction to the recent drop. I actually have very little exposure as I do not leverage my positions, and I have always been a buidler more than a hodler.
The bull run that started in late 2020 is super exciting. However, we learn from the last bear market that teams that keep their heads down and continue to build their projects would likely benefit from the bear market--less price excitement induced excitement, more calm environment to execute--and that's what I want to focus on.
In the short run, if the price continues to correct, I'd definitely buy more Ether, Solana, and Polygon as I need these coins for development.
What's your exposure and what's your view on the correction?
"...keep their heads down and continue to build their projects would likely benefit from the bear market--less price excitement induced excitement, more calm environment to execute--and that's what I want to focus on..."
YES!
