Best marketing resources?

As a second-time startup founder, I still find it hard to market the right way. What books, websites, blogs do you use to learn more about marketing?

I think you can actually find a lot of good stuff on github "awesome lists" just google that:

The single best resource for me was probably marketing examples from Harry Dry
    https://marketingexamples.com/
I love the copywriting examples from him as well https://marketingexamples.com/inspiration

Plug -> If you are doing marketing for dev tools specifically I've recently started working on a page for that. I am basically talking about the things we are researching, doing, and trying at our dev tool startup https://www.developermarkepear.com/

When you say 'market the right way', are you looking for material that focuses more on marketing strategy (i.e. building the foundations) rather than tactics (i.e. get 1000 Twitter followers)?

      I'm looking for tactics

Gator70's tip is a good one. If you haven't read it, Traction is a great book to read as a starting point (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Traction-Startup-Achieve-Explosive-Customer/).

I think the book essentially says that there are something like 19 different marketing channels/tactics available to any startup. All work, but only a handful will likely work for your business (depending on customer base, product type, timing, etc.). So the trick is to run tests on them into you find the one or two that work for you, then go all in on that channel. Have a look at the book and it has a chapter on each.

Once you've trialled and discovered the right channel for you, then you can go down the rabbit hole of all the content that will be out there for that channel in question to learn all there is to learn about it.

It depends on the type of marketing content you are looking for. For example, I like blogs from Julian Shapiro (and his Demand Curve), Andrea Bosoni (and his Zero To Marketing), Harry Dry (Marketing Examples), Brian Balfour (for growth marketing tips), Ali Abouelatta (First 1000 newsletter). And many others.
