Best place to recruit solid affiliate marketers?

With Chipy.io we are setting up an affiliate program where the partners can sign into their own dashboard and create links and manage payouts, track active users, and use the platform to create their own landing pages if they want. I am excited about the system but most of the Affiliate marketing networks use their own platform for this, like ClickBank and I want to keep them in our AM system as its something we might want to roll out to clients once we get it all nailed down. If any of you have experience or tips on the best places/strategies to recruit affiliates I would much appreciate it!

I'd try several relevant spots, such as conferences, forums, etc.
There are several forums. I don't want to advertise but you can start from 'warriorforum'.

Thank for the advice! So you would suggest finding an building relationships directly with affiliates over using an affiliate network? Probably would find better quality partners that way.
I suggest to reach out to both categories. As I know there are both parties on such forums.
I also advise to visit a conference. It costs money, but it will give you better understanding of your target audience.
