Blogging Milestone: got a free (expensive) keyboard!

So far, in my Indie Hacking career, the only thing that actually got me income is blogging. First by blogging behind Medium's paywall, and now a little bit by blogging under my own domain name, thanks to arc.io (review of arc.io).

Some of my posts on Medium are reviews of my keyboards. They ranked pretty well on Google, so a split-ergonomic-mechanical keyboard startup contacted me to see if I'd be interested in receiving a free Zergotech Freedom and reviewing it. Of course, I agreed.

All this to say that people talking about the importance of building in public and having an online presence are right. It does pay off. Through blogging you can give your domain (and yourself!) a boost of authority, make a bit of money and hone your writing skills.

I'm happy I started and feel like a successful instababe today 😆
