Blogging Platform or similar for User's Guide

Hi All,

what is a good way of creating SEO-friendly content for users?

  • we need non-technical colleagues to be able to edit them online (mainly text and screenshots)
  • we would like to reuse the content in our web app and on our website (for SEO purposes)

Any ideas, experiences?

    Notion? (plenty of documentation themes)
    Gitbook?
    something super fast would be to use Ghost.

      gitbook is minimum $40/month. Ghost looks interesting, I am checking that now.

    I am considering:

    • find a light weight open source blogging platform (which provides an editor) and host ourselves
    • use weebly, wix, notion, google docs etc. but I am worried about HTML being not lightweight and SEO.
    • build a markdown based flow (as I couldn't find one which I could use)
