Bootstrapped vs VC backed
A VC contacted me about a possible partnership, but I have no idea if it's good or not. I always would like to have a bootstrapped business, but as I have no MRR, I'm not sure.
What do you think of this in general?

Depends on a lot of factors! Do you have a day job? Do you need money from this business to support yourself immediately? Is the business something that could grow massive? VCs are going to want an exit & massive growth, so that brings a ton of expectations you don't have when bootstrapped.
Yeah, I have an awesome day job, and my hosting services are around 25 euro/month, so I do not need money to keep working on my app called Coolify.
Lots of big companies would like to have such an app in their infrastructure, that's sure. I've got a lot of response which points to this. So it could possibly grow "massively".
But I'm not too fond of the idea to be VC-founded because of my vision around my applications are totally different.
So basically, I answered my own question. 😁
