As the Chief Designer of Material Tailwind, I’ve had the chance to lead our team on an exciting project: rebuilding our framework from scratch. When we set out to create Material Tailwind V3 PRO, we didn’t want just another update. We wanted to create a tool that would truly improve how developers build user interfaces. Here’s how we did it and what we hope it will bring to developers and designers.

One of the biggest changes in Material Tailwind V3 PRO is our use of AI. From the beginning, my team and I wanted to build a framework that didn’t just give developers the basics but actually helped them save time and work faster.
Imagine being able to generate entire sections of a webpage with one click—complete with text, images, and everything ready for SEO. With Material Tailwind V3, that’s possible. Our AI-powered agents can create fully coded blocks and layouts, so developers don’t have to start from scratch every time. Simply write down the type of page section or landing page you want, and our AI agents will generate it for you, complete with Tailwind CSS classes.

This AI feature is more than just a shortcut; it allows developers to focus on delivering more projects, faster. Instead of getting bogged down with repetitive tasks, developers can now concentrate on meeting deadlines and increasing their output.
With this new design, we wanted to give developers the power to create UIs that look and feel premium. So my team and I rewrote every component and block from scratch, carefully rethinking how each one should look and feel in a modern web application.

With Material Tailwind V3 PRO, we now offer over 300 fully redesigned components and blocks that look more attractive, polished, and refined than ever before. From simple buttons and cards to complex sections for Marketing and Presentation (Hero, Team, Newsletter, Onboarding and others), for Content UI (Calendar, Features, Blog, and others), Ecommerce UI (Banners, Product lists, Orders, and others) and last but not least Application & Admin UI (Charts, Tables, KPI Cards, Sidebars, and others).
Another great Material Tailwind V3 PRO feature is our collection of ready-to-use landing pages. We know that, for many developers, building landing pages is a regular task, whether it’s for a new product launch, a campaign, or a personal profile. To make this process faster and simpler, we’ve designed a set of fully built, responsive landing pages that are ready to deploy and easy to customize.
At its core, Material Tailwind V3 is built on two powerful technologies: Tailwind CSS and React. These technologies provide the flexibility, performance, and scalability that modern web applications need, and they’re widely loved by the developer community.
However, we recognize the value of providing developers with options that fit their preferred frameworks, so we want to make Material Tailwind accessible to even more of the web development community. Therefore, we are currently working on making Angular and Vue.js available too for the V3.

As a designer, I know that keeping designers and developers on the same page can be challenging. To help with this, we integrated Figma into Material Tailwind V3 PRO, so designers and developers can work from the same components and blocks and keep everything consistent.
Each component in Material Tailwind V3 has a matching Figma file, with built-in design tokens and variables that make it easy to customize and maintain consistent design elements. Plus, with the Dark Mode design now included, both light and dark themes are ready to go! This integration lets designers adjust and fine-tune the look of components, while developers can easily bring those designs to life in code.
Material Tailwind V3 PRO is now open for pre-orders. By pre-ordering, you’ll get early access to the framework at a special launch price. This is a great opportunity to be among the first to explore everything that Material Tailwind V3 PRO offers, including all our new features, enhanced components, and AI Agents.
