Preamble

Currently doing the 12 startups (projects) in twelve months challenge & posting bulleted weekly progress here for an extra layer of accountability. Project two is a newsletter for academic researchers who want to work smarter, not harder.

Goals for this week

1. Deploy carbon impact tracker on GumRoad

Wrap-up of project one. Done. Don’t think it will get much traffic yet, but it’s out there, and I’ll try and push some traffic to it over time. Here it is again for interested folks.

2. Put your start-up ideas on a list so you can choose next

Semi-done. I consolidated the ideas scattered all across my apps into an excel document. They still need to be cleaned. But for now, they're good enough to choose from.

3. Start getting user feedback/validation on your MVP

Not quite. Done lean canvas for newsletter product. Wrote out assumptions. Designed experiments to test critical assumptions. Pretty happy with the Notion framework I've created. My background as a scientist is helping here. Wanted to start experimenting this week (week 1), but ran out of time. Will start next week instead.
