Building a better website creator

Hi, I’m Vincent, the founder of GetSmart. A website builder for small business owners that focusses on building simple, clean and goal driven websites.

If you’ve got a minute, I’d like to share the story of how GetSmart was born.

I like helping small businesses succeed on the internet. For the last couple of years i’ve build more than 200 websites.

It always surprises me how exited customers get when you help them define their website goals and online success. Simple questions like: Think as your ideal customer. What would he/she want to do? or How can we define online success for your business? are a real eye opener for them.

I’d like to give customers the fun experience of a webdesigner in a website builder. Helping you make better decisions for your website.

The Header Starter Kit by Stefano Peschier gave me the inspiration on what a small business website should look like. Modern, clean, and focused on achieving a simple goal.

Most website builders out there are behave a bit like a Big Mac commercial. The end result never looks like the poster advertisement. I think its a fun challenge to steer the customer to a good looking website with (probably) minimal content.
