Building

Day 13 of building a podcast repurposing agency from scratch. No clients yet. Here’s the honest version.
I started Signal & Ink 13 days ago.
The idea was simple SaaS and fintech founders are sitting on hours of recorded gold and watching it die in a podcast app 48 hours after it drops. I turn one episode into LinkedIn posts, X threads, newsletters, AEO briefs and hook libraries. Everything their audience actually consumes.
Simple idea. Messier execution.
Here is what actually happened in 13 days:
LinkedIn banned my account the same day I finally settled on my brand name. Not suspended. Banned. I had just found the name Signal & Ink and was ready to start outreach. Gone.
Getting founder emails is genuinely one of the most frustrating parts of this. Nobody tells you that the actual work of cold outreach is 60% finding the person, 30% writing the email and 10% hitting send. I thought it was the other way around.
I built my website three times before I liked it. My first portfolio sample was embarrassing. My second was better. My third I actually sent to a prospect.
And then Fintech Confidential replied.
One reply. From a real fintech podcast with a real audience. Asking for my pricing and input.
That was the moment that made the last 13 days feel like something.
I am not at 4 clients yet. That is the goal for the next 15 days. But I am more strategic today than I was on day one and the work is getting better every single day.
If you are building something right now and it feels invisible it is not. You are just early.
What is the hardest part of your first 30 days that nobody warned you about?
