Building Gitog — Finding my first users

Hi everyone,

I’m starting my SaaS journey and I wanted to share my project: Gitog.

Gitog is a tool that transforms your GitHub profile into a clean, beautiful, and presentable portfolio in just a few minutes.

The goal is simple: help developers showcase their projects without having to build a website from scratch, code a portfolio, or spend time constantly updating it.

To find my first users, I started by testing Reddit, which helped me get my first feedback and learn from real users.

But instead of relying only on posts that might go viral, I’m now looking for more scalable ways to grow the project.

I’m thinking about trying cold email to reach developers who could actually benefit from Gitog.
