💬 Thoughts on last week 💬
I read an article a long time ago about the differences between bootstrapped startups and those with significant funding and runway. One key distinction is how resources—both money and time—are allocated. This got me thinking about my own journey, balancing personal projects while employed versus now, going solo.
Marketing has always been a bit foreign to me, something I hadn’t dedicated much effort to in the past. My old approach of building something cool, attaching a domain, and hoping people would find it isn't enough to create something that folks use and generates profit.
That's why I'm excited to be launching my mobile app, Ideas Down, on ProductHunt this week! I'll also be creating a proper landing page to showcase it. (https://ideas.sillysideprojects.com/)

- Create and launch online photography store (still waiting on test prints)
- Begin reoccurring Twitch steam in which I live stream creation of my game Candlelight.

For now, I'll just be attaching hours to this post this post, but I plan to launch a separate website or blog soon. 😅 I decided I need less secondary work in my life so I deleted the column tracking how I spent my time and will only record what project I was working on.
