Building Indicatix: From Personal Need to Public Tool

Who I Am

I’m a developer working remotely for a foreign company. I get paid to an international account and have been using crypto for years to send money back home — fast, convenient, and reliable.

The Problem

At some point, I realized part of my funds just sat in crypto, doing nothing. They weren’t growing, and sometimes even losing value. I wanted my crypto to work for me — as savings and investments. So I started exploring strategies, technical analysis, and indicators. The deeper I went, the more I saw the routine: every day, I had to figure out the market trend and its strength before making decisions.

Automating the Routine

I automated the boring parts — fetching historical and live data, calculating indicators. Then I wanted more indicators, but interpreting them wasn’t always straightforward. That’s when I thought: who’s good at analyzing huge amounts of data? AI, of course.

Adding AI

I plugged AI into my system. Now it could process everything — price history, indicators, real-time moves — and understand what’s happening with the market right now. That’s when Indicatix was born.

What Indicatix Does Today

  • Assess the overall state of a currency pair in real time
  • Detect trends across multiple timeframes
  • Calculate indicators for each timeframe
  • Spot potential entry points and explain the reasoning behind them

What’s Next

Indicatix is still a work in progress. I’m adding more currency pairs, more indicators, improving analysis accuracy, and building a Telegram alerts system.

Why I Built It

What started as a personal tool to cut daily market-checking is now something I use every day to make sense of crypto markets. No hype. No magic. Just clear, data-backed insights.

If you find Indicatix useful, I’d appreciate it if you could give it a try and share your feedback. Your comments and suggestions really help improve the product.

I like the idea, but you still need to do daily checking, just instead of trading view or something, its your tool =)
If only AI could also make decisions too...
But here comes a problem: do we actually trust the technicals in crypto? I suggest you backtest what it advises first.

      Glad you liked it.

I would like to point out that the main difference between this tool and a trading terminal or similar software is that instead of raw market data, it offers an explanation of what they mean, reducing the cognitive load required to interpret them.

To avoid the problem of daily checking, I am already working on a notification system, so if you do not want to check manually, you can set up conditions and be notified when they are met for a specific currency pair, time frame or investment horizon.

And finally - technical analysis is just one way to analyze the market (no matter which stock, forex or crypto). Indicatix only simplifies the understanding of the current situation in terms of technical indicators, but this does not mean that you do not need to understand what is happening with cryptocurrency or in the world in general. Perhaps it is a good idea to use news/mentions of a trading asset in the analysis, I think I will try to implement this.
