Building My First SaaS Project for Unions

In 1992, I was one month in at the only university I applied to: USC.

I was over the moon that I got accepted and was now a Trojan.

But little did I know that a few short months later, I would have to resign from school and start working full-time.

You see, my mom was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and could no longer work.

That meant I had to.

So I got a job as a Letter Carrier and became a union member.

I never needed the services of the union during my tenure, but there were many other people that did.

What struck me was that most of the union reps had to read a 2,000-page manual just to see how they could best represent their client. Oftentimes, they were overwhelmed.

Fast forward to today and I still see unions struggling with that same problem.

My goal is to create a SaaS project to help them represent union members and for union members to see how they can help in their own defense.

I am taking part in WGMI 10-week challenge to finish this project.
