Building SaaS App on Zoho Creator
I'm looking at building a personal finance SaaS service and really like what Zoho Creator has available as a platform. Simple to use, relatively low cost-per-user, web and mobile friendly...
The only major downside I can find with Zoho Creator right now is that it's a little more expensive than I'd like to get started. I have also evaluated Bubble which is OK but kind of clunky to work with, and know Mendix, which is too costly and complex for this.
I'd like to move forward and develop more on Zoho Creator, but one thing I haven't been able to figure out is if anyone has actually built a SaaS service on them. Does the platform support payment gateway integration for recurring billing, can you set limits in place for what people can do once inside the platform to create license tiers, does it integrate well with other services, etc.
Does anyone have any experience with Zoho Creator? What are your thoughts on using this to build with?
Quick update. I found Zoho from a platform perspective to be too limiting. Control of customer accounts alone if they were paying, or not, was not something you could not do. You could only delete them, not ideal for trying to just get someone to pay again and keeping their account.
